Santa Claus: A legendary figure based on Saint Nicholas who is known for his generosity. The modern image of a jolly man in a red suit who delivers toys to children around the world on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Tree: An evergreen tree (often refers to fir or pine)  decorated with colored lights, ornaments, and a star or angel on top, which symbolizing life and light during the cold winter.

Gift-Giving: This custom comes from the gifts brought to Jesus by the Magi. Today, it is a most expected part of the holiday for families and friends.

Decorations: People will decorate their homes and streets with pretty lights, wreaths, and holly. Especially hunging the mistletoe, says people should kiss under such great festival.

Feasting: A large family meal is a cornerstone of the Christmas day. Traditional foods usually are roast turkey or ham in the US and UK, potluck in Poland, réveillon in France, and KFC in Japan are just a few examples.

Christmas Cards: Sending greeting cards to friends and family during the Christmas season is a tradition that people showing there care and love.

Music and Movies: Christmas music"Jingle Bells" and classic films Home Alone” have become a important aprt of  the season's atmosphere.
